Inspiration struck Tim Wright in 2018 to apply the athletic feel of a hockey grip to the toughest part of the course – the greens. His prototype brought him success on the course. He created the first-ever fully integrated putting grip and shaft that conforms with the rules of golf. The game changed in 2021 when Caliber Golf was formally notified that Caliber Golf’s hockey shaft conforms with the rules of golf. 

Wright discovered an edge that delivers a more natural and controlled feel for putting. Combining his love of hockey and golf, Caliber Golf debuted the product at the 2023 PGA Show. Caliber Golf has shipped worldwide since then.
